Key Responsibilities
• End–to–end development of new features which include different components/services (research, design, development, testing, rollout, monitoring).
• Own the product’s data pipelines – maintenance, improvements, cost, and schema.
• Full ownership of the data architecture, lifecycle, and pipelines from our producers, throughout the warehouse, to our web application.
• Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver the best product to our customer.
Qualifications
• BSc in Computer Science/Engineering with 3+ years of hands–on experience
• 2+ years of experience with Java
• 2+ years of experience with Front–end development in React
• Deep understanding of distributed data processing architecture and tools (such as Kafka, Snowflake, etc)
• 2+ years of experience with microservice architecture, including serverless (lambda)
• 2+ years of experience working in a scrum team according to Agile principles
• Solid understanding of design patterns, software development techniques and clean code practices
• A team player with strong communication skills and a can–do approach
– Experience in Node.js /TypeScript– advantage
– Experience with TDD/BDD – advantage
