Position Title: Development Engineer

1. Role Purpose:
Research and development of new and innovative solutions for water purification and dispensing systems that will provide a competitive advantage for Strauss Water in the markets in which it operates.
2. Main Responsibilities (6-8 areas):
- Manage the development process of new technologies for water purification systems.
- Develop systems such as hydraulic, optical, and autonomous systems.
- Design and build prototypes.
- Conduct tests and experiments and document the results.
- Demonstrate feasibility.
- Perform reliability tests and prepare the technology for production.
- Support the integration process in the company’s products.
- Examine and diagnose various mechanisms and methods for water enrichment (enrichment engines).
- Gather information and evaluate different technologies in the field of water purification, including working with external laboratories and various research institutes (universities, etc.).
- Work closely with product development interfaces and consumer insights to define requirements for new features/technologies and their integration into the company’s products.

4. Required Qualifications (qualifications must align with the role’s purpose and responsibilities):
Education/Professional Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Physics (with emphasis on practical experience).
Professional Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in R&D/Process Engineering.
- Knowledge and understanding of physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, hydraulics.
- Experience in water enrichment – an advantage.
- Experience in designing and modeling engineering systems in SolidWorks, Surface, Sheetmetal.
- High-level English proficiency.
