They’re looking for a motivated Backend Engineer to join our Professional Services R&D team in Jerusalem and have real impact on internal tools, product customizations and work in a small but mighty backend focused team. You will collaborate cross-functionally to help deliver quality solutions.
This position is based out of our Jerusalem office in Talpiyot and reports to the Dev Team Lead.
What you will be responsible for:
- Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
- Contribute to developing new features, integrations, customization requests, improving existing code, and completing assigned tasks to support stability, performance, and scalability.
- Resolve incoming bugs and technical support requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other teams to resolve issues and enable new functionality.
- Participate in regular code reviews and contribute ideas to improve code quality and development processes.
- Tolerate frequent context switching between support and development tasks.
- Adopt AI-based development tools and integrate them into your daily workflow.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent – advantage.
- 2 – 3 years of software development experience.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases.
- Comfortable working in SaaS or web application environments.
- Excellent English communication skills; good Hebrew is preferred.
- Willingness to work onsite at our Jerusalem office 3-4 days a week (4 days preferred).
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude towards using generative AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Anthropic.
