A global leader in providing mission-critical is looking to hire a QA engineer to join an elite team responsible for validating core web application components. In this role, you will ensure seamless product integration while maintaining a world-class user experience.
This position is ideal for a QA professional with deep frontend expertise, specifically focusing on UI functionality, UX/UI consistency, and cross-browser compatibility. While your primary focus will be the frontend, you will also perform API validation to ensure robust backend integration. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to uphold the integrity of a high-performance web platform.
What You’ll Do

Strategy & Execution: Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test plans.

Frontend Excellence: Perform rigorous UI testing to ensure applications are functional, responsive, and strictly aligned with UX/UI design standards.

Collaboration: Partner with developers and product managers to define clear acceptance criteria and ensure the delivery of high-quality features.

Technical Validation: Utilize tools such as Postman, Swagger, and browser developer tools to validate web behaviors, API interactions, and backend responses.

Component Testing: Use Storybook to test UI components, ensuring proper rendering, interaction, and design consistency across all use cases.

Cloud Operations: Operate within a cloud-based environment (AWS preferred) to test and validate infrastructure components.
Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of manual QA experience with a specialized focus on frontend (web UI) testing.

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of modern web applications, particularly React-based UI behavior and cross-browser testing.

Tooling: Familiarity with Storybook for component validation and API testing via Postman or Swagger.

QA Fundamentals: Strong expertise in QA processes, test case design, and defect tracking.

Automation (Bonus): Exposure to UI automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium is a significant advantage.

Industry Context: Experience in the Insurance or Banking sectors is preferred.
