Description
We’re looking for a Designer to design and implement scalable, secure and reliable IT solutions that leverage both on-premises
and cloud-based technologies aligning with the organization’s business objectives.
- Design, implement and maintain IT solutions that integrate on-premises and cloud technologies, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, Secure, cost-effective and aligned with business goals.
- Develop architectural blueprints and documentation that guide the Implementation of systems, networks, applications, and cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain systems, including computing modules, storage, hyper-converged platforms and virtualization technologies.
- Install and maintain different operating systems especially Linux.
- Manage backup processes, ensuring data integrity and availability in line with business continuity requirements.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools to track the performance and health of systems, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
- Design and implement disaster recovery plans, ensuring critical systems can be restored quickly in the event of an outage.
- Provide advanced technical support for complex system issues, working with other IT teams to resolve incidents and minimize downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis for system failures and implement. Corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, information technology or any related field.
- Extensive experience in solution architecture, including the design and implementation of both on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Proficiency in different operating systems especially Windows and Linux.
- Experience in HPC, storage and hyper-converged platforms. Experience in backup solutions (e.g. Commvault, Rubrik).
- Experience in monitoring and observability solutions (e.g. Dynatrace).
- (3-4) years of experience within enterprise environment.
